Hi, my name is Alexandra and I'm the photographer behind Snap Happy!
I created this website to feature both the beautiful city of Québec—originally a French colony founded in 1608 by Samuel de Champlain—and my love of photography. It’s also something of a travel blog; a place for travellers and tourists alike to discover more about this amazing city I call home.
While most visitors are initially drawn to Québec City for its unique history and European sense of charm; the food, people, and culture are inevitably why they fall in love with the city and return again and again.
So please, stay a while, and enjoy my city like a local!
