Like any amateur photographer, I've had and tried more than my fair share of cameras big and small, over the years. Everything from a Canon point and click through to my trusted digital SLR, and go to camera, a Pentax ist-D.
I default to this camera for a number of reasons. The same reasons I bought it back when it first came out. Its comfortable in my hand, it's super lightweight, and it takes great photos ... well, the kind I'm happy with. Digital snaps that make me, well, happy.
It's not my only camera. I was tempted like most people to the lure of buying other cameras. I bought the tiny ultra light Pentax Q10 and yes, also bought the tiny lightweight mirrorless, Olympus Pen E-PL2. Both of which I've used but ... but have never really fallen in love with.
When you find the one that works for you, there's no going back.
